[Fall Semester 2025] Notice on Submission of Thesis Examination Application and Research Ethics Compliance Statement
○ Submission Period:
November 3 (Mon) – November 8 (Sat), 2025 (Late submissions will not be accepted.)
○ Documents to Submit:
1.Thesis Examination Application Form - 1 copy
If appointing an external examiner, additionally submit:
1.1. Certificate of Employment of the external examiner - 1 copy
1.2. Consent Form for Use of Personal Information- 1 copy (Attachment 3)
2. Research Ethics Compliance Statement - 1 copy
○ Examination Fee Payment
Payment period will be announced later via text message.
- Master’s Program: 150,000 KRW (Examination fee: 50,000 KRW per examiner for both internal and external examiners)
- Doctoral Program: Amount varies depending on the number of internal and external examiners (Internal Examiner: 100,000 KRW per person; External Examiner: 300,000 KRW per person)

★ In accordance with Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the University Regulations, the Dean of the Graduate School appoints thesis examiners from among nominated faculty members (professors, associate professors, or full-time faculty holding a doctoral degree). For a Master’s thesis, three examiners are appointed, and for a Doctoral dissertation, five examiners are appointed, with the supervising professor automatically serving as one of the examiners. In the case of a Master’s thesis, one of the three examiners may be from another department or an external institution (including research institutes), and in the case of a Doctoral dissertation, two of the five examiners may be from another department or an external institution.
