​『Notice on Application for the Foreign Language Examination』 

 

❍ Eligibility: Students enrolled in Master’s and Doctoral programs (both new and continuing students) who have completed course registration.

 

❍ Application Period via Integrated Information System: March 3 (Tue), 2026 – March 7 (Sat), 2026 (Applications are accepted starting from the first enrolled semester)

Important Notice: If you complete the Incheon National University Pagoda online course without applying for the foreign language examination through the Integrated Information System, your course completion will NOT be recognized as fulfilling the foreign language examination requirement.

Please make sure to apply for the foreign language examination before completing the Pagoda online course.

❍ Application Method and Required Documents

1) Applicants Using Official English Test Scores (Applicants who already hold valid official English test scores)※Only scores obtained within the last 2 years as of the application date will be accepted.

· Portal Application: Integrated Information System → Academic Administration → Graduation → Graduate School Foreign Language Examination Management → Foreign Language Examination Application → Add → Select Examination Subject (Official English Test – Pass) → Apply → Print the application form (signature required) and submit it together with the official test score report.

※ Recognized Official English Test Criteria: 

◆ TOEFL: PBT 540+, iBT 76+, CBT 207+

◆ TOEIC: 700+

◆ IELTS: 6.0+

◆ TEPS: 55+

  

 

2) Applicants Choosing the Online Course Option

· Portal Application: Integrated Information System → Academic Administration → Graduation → Graduate School Foreign Language Examination Management → Foreign Language Examination Application → Add → Select Examination Subject (Online Course) → Apply → Print the application form (signature required)

 

· Online Course Registration:: https://inu.npagoda.com/front/main

 (ID: Student ID / Password: Student ID)(ID: Student ID / Password: Student ID)  → Search for course → Register → Complete the course and examination → Print certificate of completion

 

· Available Courses (Select ONE – Free of Charge):

  1) Pagoda TOEIC 700+ RC Skill Completion [3rd Edition] (1)

  2) Pagoda TOEIC 700+ RC Skill Completion [3rd Edition] (2)

   ※ Course Period: March 3 (Tue), 2026 – March 20 (Fri), 2026 ※(Failure to complete the course within this period will result in non-recognition)

   ※ Completion Criteria: Total score of 70 or higher, Attendance: 80%, Assessment test: 20%

 

❍ Deadline for Submission of Pass Recognition Documents: By March 21 (Sat), 2026 By March 21 (Sat), 2026 (Submission via email: haemin@inu.ac.kr)

  1) Official English Test Applicants: Application form (from portal), Official test score report

  2) Online Course Completion Applicants:: Application form (from portal), Pagoda course completion certificate
