Guidance for Submission of Thesis Proposal (2024 Spring Semester)
Please follow the instructions below for submitting your thesis proposal and submit it according to the schedule:
○ Target Audience: students Master's 4th semester, Ph.D Program 6th semester.
○ Eligibility for Submission (*Based on Article 6 of the Regulations on Graduate Theses at Incheon National University's Graduate School of Logistics).
· Common Qualifications: Passed Foreign Language Examination, Comprehensive Examination.
· Master's Program: Acquired 21 or more credits, with an average grade of B or higher.
· Ph.D. Program: Acquired 33 or more credits, with an average grade of B or higher.
○ Application and Submission Period: April 29th, 2024 (Monday) to May 4th, 2024 (Saturday).
○ Required Documents
1. One copy of the Thesis Proposal Submission Application Form
(Portal -> Integrated Information -> Academic Administration -> Graduation -> Graduate Thesis Management -> Thesis Submission Application -> Create -> Apply -> Print Application Form -> Submit after Advisor's Signature)
2. One copy of the Research Progress Report (attached file)
(* When completing Research Progress Reports for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd times, include dates beyond the 2nd semester)
3. Guidelines for Submitting Draft Copies (Preliminary Review: May 27th to June 7th, 2024) * Draft copies should be submitted to the examiners based on the date set for the preliminary review.
- Ph.D. students: Up to 7 days before the preliminary review date.
- Master students: Up to 5 days before the preliminary review date.
Send one copy each to the examiners via email in PDF format.
(* If external examiners request printed copies, the administrative office will send them by mail.)
○ Submission Method: Submit directly to the administrative office and via email
(chojiin@inu.ac.kr).
※ Ph.D. Candidates, please read thoroughly!
Apply for Journal Paper Inclusion or Proof of Scheduled Inclusion via the INU portal.
- Journal Inclusion Method: Portal -> Integrated Information -> Academic Administration -> Graduation -> PhD Thesis Management -> Application -> Attach Journal Paper (Inclusion Paper or Proof of Scheduled Inclusion) -> Save.
- Both papers must be submitted before the 2nd review (final review). (Final Review: June 24th to June 28th, 2024)
