Starting from the second semester of the 2024 academic year, all graduate students intending to submit their master's or doctoral thesis must complete research ethics education.

1. Purpose of Education 

• To foster an understanding of research ethics that must be observed during the conduct of research and the presentation of research results.
• To prevent research misconduct, including fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and improper authorship designation.

2.  Method of Education

• Enroll in the "Research Ethics for Graduate Students" course available on the Incheon University Learning Management System.

3. Target Audience: Graduate Students

• Completion of the education is mandatory before submitting the thesis research proposal (Submission period: September 23–28).
• However, students planning to submit their thesis application in the second semester of 2024 must complete the education before submitting the thesis application form (Submission period: October 28–November 2).

※ Students requiring Institutional Review Board (IRB) review should proceed according to the Incheon University IRB review system manual.
