2025 Spring Semester Course Registration Guide for the Graduate School of Northeast Asian Logistics


  1. 1. Course Registration - Direct Link to Registration Site:

    Click here: http://gsugang.inu.ac.kr (Not through the portal)

    Our graduate school offers common courses for all students regardless of department, master's/doctoral program, or cohort. Only the courses offered by the student's department are visible on the course registration screen, and for courses not listed, please register by selecting them as cross-department courses. The timetable will display "(Department) Course Name/Instructor Name/Classroom Location." For more details, please refer to the course registration manual.

  2. 2. Course Registration Period (For both new and current students):

    • -Registration Period: 2025.02.17 (Mon) 10:00 ~ 2025.02.20 (Thu) 17:00

    • -Course Correction Period: 2025.03.04 (Tue) 10:00 ~ 2025.03.10 (Mon) 18:00

    • -Korean-titled courses: Korean language courses, English-titled courses: English language courses (timetable)

  3. 3. Core Major Courses (3 credits)

    • -Master's 4th term: Thesis Research
    • -Doctoral 5th term: Thesis Research I
    • -Doctoral 6th term: Thesis Research II

    These courses are for the thesis research with the advisor (PASS/FAIL course).

  4. 4. Credits for Course Registration:

    • -Master's and Doctoral programs can register for a maximum of 12 credits (including prerequisite courses).
  5. 5. Core Major Course Requirements:

    a. Master's Program:

    • -Must complete at least 4 core major courses (12 credits).
    • -Identical courses: "Data Analysis Techniques," "Introduction to Logistics Data Analysis," and "Logistics Data Analysis Techniques" are considered the same course, so only one should be taken.

    b. Doctoral Program:

    • -"Advanced Research Methodology" is a course only for doctoral students (not available for master's students).

    c. International Students (Master's and Doctoral):

    • -For international students enrolled from the 2019 academic year onward, seminar courses offered for international students are not recognized for graduation credits in the Master's program.
    • -However, Doctoral students may receive credit for 2 seminar courses (6 credits) regardless of their year of admission, while Master's students admitted before 2019 may receive credit for only 1 seminar course (3 credits).
    • -International Student Seminar Courses include:
      • - International Seminar on Port Logistics
      • - International Seminar on Shipping and Logistics
      • - International Seminar on Green Logistics
      • - International Seminar on Freight Transportation
      • - International Seminar on Sustainable SCM
  6. 6. Graduation Credit Requirements:

    a. Master's Program (27 credits):

    • 3 credits for Core Major, at least 12 credits for Core Courses.

    b. Doctoral Program (42 credits):

    • 6 credits for Core Major, at least 36 credits for Elective Courses.
