[Graduation] Guidelines for Thesis Proposal Submission (Spring Semester 2025)

Students are required to submit their thesis proposals according to the schedule and instructions outlined below:

 

○ Eligible Students: Master's students in their 4th semester, Doctoral students in their 6th semester.

 

○ Eligibility Requirements

(as per Article 6 of the Graduate School of Logistics Thesis Regulations)

 

· Common Requirements: Must have passed both the Foreign Language Examination and the Comprehensive Examination.

 

· Master’s Program: Must have earned at least 21 credits with a GPA of B (3.0) or higher.

 

· Doctoral Program: Must have earned at least 33 credits with a GPA of B (3.0) or higher.

 

○ Apply from Portal April 28 (Monday) – May 3 (Saturday), 2025

 

○ Required Documents

 

1. Thesis Proposal Submission Application Form (one copy)

 

Access via INU Portal: Integrated Information → Academic Administration → Graduation → Graduate Thesis Management → Thesis Submission Application → Create → Apply →  Create a red mark box and upload an attachment → Submit.

 

2. Thesis and Research Progress Report (one copy): Use the attached form.

 

(Include research progress records beyond the second semester for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reports.)

 

3. Draft Thesis Submission Guidelines (Preliminary Review: May 26 (Monday) – June 5 (Thursday), 2025)

* Draft copies must be submitted to each examiner ahead of the preliminary review:

 

- Ph.D. students: Submit at least 7 days prior to the preliminary review date.

 

- Master’s students: Submit at least 5 days prior to the preliminary review date.

 

Submit via email as a PDF file. (If printed copies are requested by examiners, the administrative office will send them by mail.)

 

○ Submission Method: Submit directly to the administrative office or via email

 



※ Important Notice for Ph.D. Candidates

 

Apply for Journal Paper Inclusion or provide proof of scheduled publication through the INU Portal.

- Journal Inclusion Method: Portal → Integrated Information → Academic Administration → Graduation → Ph.D. Thesis Management → Application → Attach Journal Paper (Published or Proof of Scheduled Inclusion) → Save.
