The course Econometric Modeling for Transportation and Logisticswill change from major elective to major required. (Applies to all students, regardless of the admition year)

 

2) Changes in Credit Requirements for Graduation.

(Applies only to students admitted in or after Autumn Semester 2025).

- Master’s Program: 24 credits required for graduation (The course “Thesis Research” is not included among the required credits, but it must be taken in the 4th semester as part of thesis supervision for the graduation thesis).

- Doctoral Program: 36 credits required for graduation, which includes Thesis Research I (3 credits) and Thesis Research II (3 credits).

**At our Graduate School, master’s and doctoral students take common courses, regardless of degree level, department, or semester. On the course registration screen, only the courses offered by your affiliated department will be displayed. If you wish to take a course offered by another department, please change the “Department” setting accordingly. The timetable specifies: (Offering Department) Course Title / Professor’s Name / Classroom Location. Please make sure to review the Course Registration Manual for details.


2. Course Registration Period (Freshman and enrolled students.)

-Registration Period: August 18, 2025 (Mon) 10:00 August 22, 2025 (Fri) 17:00

-Course Add/Drop & Schedule Adjustment Period: September 1, 2025 (Mon) 10:00 September 6, 2025 (Sat) 18:00

-Courses listed in Korean are taught in Korean; courses listed in English are taught in English (refer to timetable).


3. Thesis Research Courses: Master’s 4th Semester: Thesis Research, Doctoral 5th Semester: Thesis Research I, Doctoral 6th Semester: Thesis Research II, must be registered under the supervising professor (graded on a Pass/Fail basis).

Please note: As Professor Shin Kwang-seop will be on research leave for one year (Fall 2025 Spring 2026), his students must register their Thesis Research under Prof. Ha Min-ho.

 

4. Full Course Load: Both Master’s and Doctoral students may register for up to 12 credits per semester (including prerequisite courses).


5.Major Credits Requirement

A. Master’s Program

-Completion of at least 4 major-required courses (minimum 12 credits).

B. Doctoral Program (No “major-required” courses are designated.)

-However, Advanced Research Methodology is exclusively for doctoral students (Master’s students may not enroll).

C.International Students (Master’s and Doctoral)

-For students admitted in 2019 and after: Seminar courses for international students are not counted toward Master’s graduation requirements. However, For the Doctoral program, up to 2 courses (6 credits) may be counted, regardless of admission year. For Master’s students admitted before 2019, may count 1 course (3 credits) toward graduation requirements.

6. Graduation Credit Requirements

A. Master’s Program: 24 credits total (at least 12 credits from major-required courses).

B. Doctoral Program: 36 credits total, including Thesis Research I (3 credits), Thesis Research II (3 credits), and 30 credits of major electives.
